Recipe: Hummus With Caramelized Onions

You will need:

– 1 small-medium Onion
– 2 tbsp Olive Oil– 9.5 oz of your favorite Nara Hummus (Nara Classic Hummus or Nara Roasted Garlic Hummus or Nara Roasted Pepper Hummus) 

How to make:

  • Chop the onion
  • Spread a full 9.5oz Nara Hummus package on a plate, keeping the edges higher than center
  • Sprinkle the hummus plate with your favorite spice(s). Cumin, Paprika/Smoked Paprika and Cayenne Pepper are some good candidates
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil on medium heat
  • Add chopped onions when oil is hot; stir occasionally
  • Keep cooking onions until they begin to get brown edges
  • Immediately pour hot olive oil on top of the Hummus plate, then add the onions
  • Enjoy eating with your favorite bread!
